Yes, I get it. It's hard to be new at something. But this was my answer when someone came to me recently with their apprehension about starting.

It's like being a mom, except you are serving people who notice every wonderful thing you do, and thank you for it!

Taking a postpartum doula training should prepare you to confidently serve new families, right out of the gate. Because what you have to offer is valuable, and families need you!

Just start. Families are wonderful, and they know when you are taking good care of them. You are going to love it.
