Baby stain help!

baby stains come out easily abc doula.png

Today I am building a presentation for the CAPPA Conference in Sept (fingers crossed!) about demystifying babies, and I came across this gem of a reminder about baby laundry.

Doing cloth diapers with my firstborn, I still remember the utter shock at putting clean (but stained) diapers out in the sun and having them come out PERFECTLY WHITE afterward. I had forgotten the power of the sun to take care of baby stains, but watching so many you tube videos this week to familiarize myself with what is out there in the interwebs about babies, I came across this helpful reminder.

Don't sweat the baby stains. Before drying, lay the laundry out in the sun for an hour or so and watch them DISAPPEAR. Just try not to use the dryer until the sun has done it's work.

I figured with people staying home, this might be a good time to try it out...this tip is free, doesn't require shopping, and can be done in quarantine. :)
