Supporting Upcoming Dads

More and more dads are looking for doula support for their families. I've been in the postpartum doula business for almost 2 decades, and never before have we gotten this many calls from dads or partners, either early on after baby first arrives, or needing backup if they travel or work long hours.

Dads benefit from doulas support by having a truly non-judgemental guide to help learn baby skills and help interpret postpartum mom feelings. They learn the best ways to connect with their babies, make the most of their time off work, and how best to support their partner in parenthood.

We expect a lot from new dads, and few offer tools to help them feel confident, supported, and valued. Doulas are happy to provide both concrete ideas as well as emotional support as parents find their way both with each other and with their baby.
